ABOUT MERGE LEFT

Merge Left began in Winchester, Virginia, in a small basement with a high school student. After taking guitar lessons for 6 years, he struck out on his own, using self-taught producing skills to write his own music. He released his debut album, If I'm Honest, in the fall of 2023, with another scheduled to emerge the summer of 2025.

Inspired by a wide variety of genres, bands, and culture, Merge Left aims to be an indie rock experience with unique, expressive lyrics and fascinating music. Drawing from the punk rock beginnings of bands like Fall Out Boy and Relient K, as well as throwing in the pop and folk elements of Noah Kahan, Wild Rivers, and The Band CAMINO, Merge Left settles comfortably in the indie rock genre.
